Karunanidhi, professionally known as Karunas, born on February 21, 1970, in Pudukkottai, Tamil Nadu, is a popular Tamil comedian, actor, and politician. He began his career in the Tamil film industry as a comedian and quickly became one of the most sought-after supporting actors of his generation.
Karunas gained fame through his comedy roles in numerous Tamil blockbusters. His memorable performances include films like “Ghilli” (2004), “Thirupaachi” (2005), “Pokkiri” (2007), and “Arundhathi” (2009). His rustic humour, authentic Pudukkottai dialect, and impeccable timing made him a favourite among audiences and directors alike. He has appeared in over 100 films across Tamil and other South Indian languages.
Karunas also proved his versatility by taking on more substantial acting roles, demonstrating that his talents extended beyond comedy. His ability to seamlessly blend humour with emotional depth has been a hallmark of his performances.
