Nakshathra Nagesh, born on September 11, 1992, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is a popular Tamil television actress and host. She completed her schooling at Chettinad Vidyashram and studied hotel management at IHM before entering the entertainment industry as a video jockey.

Nakshathra began her television career hosting “Vaanavil” on Thanthi TV, then moved to Sun TV to host popular shows including “Sun Singer,” “Sun Kudumbam Viruthugal,” and the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA). Her acting breakthrough came with the lead role in the primetime Tamil television drama “Lakshmi Stores” on Sun TV, where she portrayed the timid Bhagyalakshmi.
