Pooja Hegde

Pooja Hegde, born on October 13, 1990, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a popular Indian actress and former beauty pageant contestant who primarily works in Telugu and Hindi cinema, with notable appearances in Tamil films as well. She was the second runner-up at the Miss Universe India 2010 pageant.

Pooja made her acting debut with the Tamil superhero film “Mugamoodi” (2012) directed by Mysskin. She gained wider recognition with her Hindi debut in Ashutosh Gowariker’s “Mohenjo Daro” (2016) opposite Hrithik Roshan. Her breakthrough in Telugu cinema came with “DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham” (2017) opposite Allu Arjun, followed by the massive hit “Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava” (2018) with Jr. NTR.

Pooja continued her successful run with Telugu blockbusters “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo” (2020) opposite Allu Arjun, which became a phenomenon, and “Most Eligible Bachelor” (2021). In Hindi cinema, she appeared in “Housefull 4” (2019), “Cirkus” (2022), and “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” (2023). She also starred alongside Vijay in the Tamil film “Beast” (2022). Known for her graceful dancing, expressive acting, and glamorous screen presence, Pooja has won SIIMA and Zee Cine Awards and continues to be one of the most in-demand leading ladies across Indian film industries.
