Ramesh Khanna, born on November 23, 1956, in Tamil Nadu, is a veteran Tamil film actor, comedian, and director who has appeared in over 300 films. He is one of Tamil cinema’s most enduring comedy actors, known for his impeccable timing and his ability to create humour through dialogue delivery and expressions.

Ramesh Khanna made his acting debut with “Panneer Pushpangal” (1981) and gradually established himself as a reliable comedy actor. He gained popularity through his roles in numerous successful Tamil films including “Ninaithen Vandhai” (1989), “Mahanadi” (1994) directed by Kamal Haasan, and “Avvai Shanmugi” (1996). His comedy sequences alongside leading stars like Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, and Vijay are fondly remembered.

He has also directed several Tamil films, showcasing his understanding of cinema from both sides of the camera. Ramesh Khanna is known for his clean comedy style that appeals to family audiences.
