Santosh Sobhan

Santosh Sobhan is a rising Telugu actor born on July 12, 1995, in Hyderabad, Telangana. He is the son of Telugu film director Sobhan, and his uncle Chittajalu Lakshmipati was a noted comedian in Telugu cinema. His younger brother Sangeeth Sobhan is also an actor.

After completing his schooling at St. Alphonsa’s High School in Hyderabad and graduating from Christ University in Bengaluru, Santosh entered the film industry. He made his debut as a child artist in “Golkonda High School” (2011) and later took his first lead role in “Thanu Nenu” (2015) opposite Avika Gor.

Santosh gained significant recognition with “Ek Mini Katha” (2021), a coming-of-age comedy that became a massive hit on OTT platforms, and “Manchi Rojulochaie” (2021). His natural screen presence and relatable boy-next-door charm have made him one of the most promising young actors in Telugu cinema. His 2026 romantic drama “Couple Friendly” opposite Manasa Varanasi, released on Valentine’s Day, received critical acclaim and became a hit on Amazon Prime Video.
