Biography

Siddharth Sriram, popularly known as Sid Sriram, born on May 19, 1990, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is a playback singer and music composer who has taken the South Indian music industry by storm. Raised in the United States, he studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he honed his skills in both Western and Carnatic music.

Sid Sriram made his playback singing debut with A.R. Rahman’s “Adiye” from “Kadal” (2013) and quickly became one of the most in-demand singers in Indian cinema. His breakthrough came with “Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale” from the Telugu film “Geetha Govindam” (2018), which became a viral sensation. In Tamil cinema, his songs “Maruvaarthai” from “Enai Noki Paayum Thota” (2019), “Idhayathai Edho Ondru” from “Yennai Arindhaal” (2015), and “Kadhale Kadhale” from “96” (2018) became massive hits.
