Smruthi Venkat, born on January 9, 1994, in Kerala, is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil films. Raised in Chennai, she worked as a model before venturing into cinema. After uncredited appearances in films like “Lingaa” (2014) and “Theri” (2016), she made her significant acting debut with the commercially successful thriller “Thadam” (2019) alongside Arun Vijay.
She then appeared in “Mookuthi Amman” (2020), the Nayanthara-starrer comedy drama, and her career continued to grow with notable roles in “Theerpugal Virkapadum” (2021), “Vanam” (2021), “Maaran” (2022) opposite Dhanush directed by Karthick Naren, and the romantic comedy “Manmadha Leelai” (2022).
