Sooraj Pillai, professionally known as Soori, was born on August 27, 1977, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He is one of Tamil cinema’s most popular comedians who has successfully transitioned into a lead actor. Soori began his career in small roles and gradually established himself as a reliable comedy performer in Tamil films.
Soori gained widespread recognition through his collaborations with director Pandiraj in films like “Pasanga 2” (2015) and “Kadaikutty Singam” (2018). His comedy timing in films like “Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam” (2013), “Rajini Murugan” (2016), and “Velaikkaran” (2017) made him a household name.
