Biography

Sri Divya, born Neha on May 25, 1987, in Hyderabad, Telangana, is an Indian actress who has worked in Tamil and Telugu cinema. She began her career as a child artist and later made a successful transition to lead roles, becoming one of the popular young actresses in South Indian cinema during the mid-2010s.

Sri Divya started her career as a child artist at the age of three and appeared in several Telugu films as a child. She made her debut as a lead actress in the Telugu film “Manasara” (2010). In Tamil cinema, she gained recognition with “Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam” (2013) opposite Sivakarthikeyan, which became a blockbuster. She followed this with “Jeeva” (2014) opposite Vishnu Vishal and “Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae” (2017).

In Telugu cinema, she appeared in successful films like “Bus Stop” (2012) and “Vundile Manchi Kalam Mundu Munduna” (2014). Sri Divya is known for her girl-next-door image and her ability to portray innocent, relatable characters. She is also a trained classical dancer and has performed in stage shows. While she has been relatively selective about her film choices in recent years, she remains a familiar and fondly remembered face in South Indian cinema.
