Supergood Kannan

Supergood Kannan, born on August 20, 1960, in Salem, Tamil Nadu, is a veteran Tamil film and television actor known for his memorable supporting roles. He made his acting debut in “Putham Pudhu Payanam”, directed by K.S. Ravikumar and produced by R.B. Choudhary, marking the beginning of a long and prolific career in Tamil entertainment.

Kannan has appeared in numerous well-known Tamil films including “Thamarai”, “Rathna” (1998), “Onna Irukka Kathukanum”, “Sandamarutham”, and “Ilaignar Ani” (1994), which was recognised as one of the best films of that year. His more recent work includes “Thendral Vanthu Ennai Thodum” (2021) and “Ponni” (2023).

In addition to his film career, Supergood Kannan has been a familiar face on Tamil television, featuring in popular serials such as “Mouna Ragam” and “Avalum Naanum” on Vijay TV. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside leading actors like Sarath Kumar and many prominent actresses of Tamil cinema including Sulakshana, Revathi, and Maheswari.
