Venba is an Indian actress who works predominantly in the Tamil film industry. She began her career as a child artist, appearing in several notable Tamil films in the mid-2000s, before transitioning to lead roles in 2017. With appearances in over 15 films, she has worked alongside some of Tamil cinema’s biggest stars.

Early Life and Career as a Child Artist

Venba entered the Tamil film industry at a young age, beginning her career as a child artist. Her early appearances include Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy (2005), where she gained her first on-screen experience. That same year, she appeared in the Suriya-starrer Ghajini (2005), directed by A.R. Murugadoss, and the Vijay-starrer Sivakasi (2005), directed by Perarasu — both major commercial hits that gave her early exposure in the industry.

She continued her work as a child artist in Kattradhu Thamizh (2007), Ram’s critically acclaimed directorial debut starring Jiiva, and Sathyam (2008), directed by A.L. Vijay and starring Vishal. These early roles across a range of blockbuster and critically praised films provided her with valuable experience in front of the camera.

Debut as Lead Actress

In 2017, Venba made her debut as a lead actress with two Tamil films. Her first lead role came in Kadhal Kasakuthaiya, a romantic drama where she starred opposite Dhruvva. The film marked her transition from child artist to leading lady and showcased her ability to carry a film in a central role.

She also starred in Palli Paruvathile (2017) alongside Nandanram Narayanan, further establishing herself as a promising young actress in Tamil cinema. Both films gave her the opportunity to demonstrate her range as a performer in romantic and youthful roles.

Later Career

Following her lead debuts, Venba continued to take on roles in Tamil films across various genres. She appeared in Maayanadhi (2020), Anandham Vilayadum Veedu (2021), and Aayiram Jenmangal, adding to her growing body of work in the industry.
