செய்யாமல் செய்த உதவிக்கு வையகமும்

- விளக்கம்
- முன்பு நாம் எந்த உதவியும் செய்யாத நிலையில், ஒருவர் தாமாகவே முன்வந்து நமக்குச் செய்யும் உதவி மிக உயர்ந்தது. இந்த மண்ணுலகத்தையும் வானுலகத்தையும் சேர்த்துக் கொடுத்தாலும் அந்த உதவிக்கு ஈடாகாது. 'ஆற்றல் அரிது' என்றால் ஈடு செய்ய முடியாது என்று பொருள். எதையும் எதிர்பார்க்காமல் நமக்குக் கிடைத்த உதவியை என்றும் மதித்துப் போற்ற வேண்டும்.

- Help given by someone to whom we had done no favour first is so great that even giving away both earth and heaven could not repay it.
