- தக்க நேரத்தில், அதாவது தேவை மிகுந்த வேளையில் செய்யப்படும் உதவி அளவில் சிறியதாக இருந்தாலும், அதன் மதிப்பு இந்த உலகத்தைவிட மிகப் பெரியது. 'ஞாலம்' என்றால் உலகம்; 'மாண' என்றால் மிகவும் என்று பொருள். பசியில் வாடுபவருக்கு அந்த நேரத்தில் கொடுக்கும் ஒரு பிடி உணவு, பின்னர் கொடுக்கும் பெரிய விருந்தைவிட மேலானது.
