- நல்லறம் செய்ய இயலாத அளவுக்கு ஒருவனை வாட்டும் வறுமை வந்துவிட்டால், அவனைப் பெற்றெடுத்த தாயும்கூட அவனை ஓர் அயலானைப் போலப் பார்ப்பாள். உலகிலேயே மிக நெருக்கமான உறவையும் வறுமை அந்நியமாக்கிவிடும் என்பதை இதன்மூலம் வள்ளுவர் காட்டுகிறார்.
