- விளக்கம்
- காதலன் தன் நெஞ்சிடம் பேசுகிறான்: ‘நெஞ்சே, மலர்களைக் கண்டதும் இவளுடைய கண்கள் அவற்றைப் போல உள்ளன என்று எண்ணி மயங்குகிறாயே!’ மையாத்தல் என்பது மயங்குதல். பலரும் பார்க்கும் சாதாரண மலர்கள், எனக்கு மட்டுமே உரிய அவளுடைய கண்களுக்கு ஒருபோதும் இணையாகா என்பது அவன் கருத்து.
