- மிக மென்மையான அனிச்ச மலர்களைக் காம்பு நீக்காமலேயே அவள் சூடிக்கொண்டாள். அந்தச் சிறிய காம்புகளின் சுமையைக்கூட அவளுடைய மெல்லிய இடை தாங்காது ஒடிந்துவிடும்; அதனால் அவள் இடைக்காக இனி மங்கல முழவுகள் ஒலிக்காது, துயரப் பறையே ஒலிக்கும் என்று காதலன் அஞ்சுகிறான். அவளுடைய இடையின் மென்மையை மிகைப்படுத்திப் புகழும் கவிதை நயம் இது.
