- காதல் துன்பத்தைத் தாங்க முடியாத என் உடலும் உயிரும், இதுவரை என்னைத் தடுத்து வைத்திருந்த நாணத்தை ஒதுக்கி வைத்துவிட்டு, மடல் ஏறத் துணிகின்றன என்று தலைவன் கூறுகிறான். நாணம் என்பது தன் உணர்வைப் பிறர் அறியக் காட்டத் தயங்கும் வெட்கம். வலி எல்லை மீறும்போது அந்தத் தயக்கமும் விலகிவிடுகிறது.
