- என்னைப் பிரிந்து வருத்தும் கொடியவரின் கொடுமையைவிட, இந்நாட்களில் மெல்ல நீண்டு கழியும் இரவுகள் இன்னும் கொடியவையாக இருக்கின்றன என்று தலைவி கூறுகிறாள். பிரிவில் உறக்கமின்றி இருப்பவருக்கு ஒவ்வொரு இரவும் முடிவில்லாமல் நீள்வது போலத் தோன்றும். கவலையில் இருக்கும்போது நேரம் மிக மெதுவாக நகர்வதை நாமும் அனுபவிக்கிறோம்.
