- விளக்கம்
- 'கதுமென' என்றால் விரைவாக, திடீரென என்பது பொருள். அன்று யாரும் தூண்டாமல் தாமே விரைந்து காதலரை நோக்கிய கண்கள், இன்று தாமே அழுகின்றன. தாங்களே தேடிக்கொண்ட துன்பத்திற்காகத் தாங்களே அழுவது சிரிப்பதற்குரியது என்று தலைவி தன் கண்களைக் கேலி செய்கிறாள். துயரத்தின் நடுவிலும் தன்னைத் தானே எள்ளும் உள்ளம் இதில் வெளிப்படுகிறது.
