- விளக்கம்
- இரக்கமில்லாத காதலரின் கொடுமையை, கழன்று விழும் வளையல்களும் பழைய அழகை இழந்து வாடிய தோள்களும் சேர்ந்து ஊருக்கு எடுத்துச் சொல்கின்றன. கொடியார் என்பது இரக்கமற்றவர்; தொல்கவின் என்பது முன்பிருந்த அழகு. யாரும் வாய் திறந்து சொல்லாவிட்டாலும், உடலில் தெரியும் மாற்றமே பிரிவின் துயரத்தைக் காட்டிவிடுகிறது.
