- தலைவி தன் நெஞ்சிடம் கூறுவது. நெஞ்சே! என் வாடிய தோள்கள் படும் துயரத்தை அந்தக் கொடியவரிடம் போய் முறையிட்டு, நீ ஏதேனும் பெருமை பெறப் போகிறாயா? பாடு என்பது பெருமை; பூசல் என்பது ஆரவாரமான முறையீடு. அன்பு காட்டாதவரிடம் குறை சொல்வதால் பயன் இல்லை என்ற வருத்தம் இதில் ஒலிக்கிறது.
