பேணாது பெட்பவே செய்யினும் கொண்கனைக்

- விளக்கம்
- என் கணவர் என்னைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல், தமக்கு விருப்பமானவற்றையே செய்தாலும், அவரைக் காணாமல் என் கண்கள் அமைதி அடைவதில்லை என்கிறாள் தலைவி. 'கொண்கன்' என்றால் கணவன். அவர்மீது குறை இருந்தாலும், அவரைக் காண வேண்டும் என்ற ஏக்கம் சிறிதும் குறைவதில்லை என்பதே கருத்து.

- Even if my husband ignores me and does only as he pleases, my eyes cannot rest until they see him. Whatever his faults, the longing to see him does not fade.
