- நெஞ்சே, முதலில் காதலரோடு ஊடல் கொண்டு சினம் காட்டி, பிறகு இணங்கி அவரோடு இன்பம் துய்க்க உனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை; அவரைக் கண்டவுடனே நீ உருகிவிடுகிறாய். இனிமேல் இப்படிப்பட்ட செய்திகளைப் பற்றி உன்னோடு யார் கலந்து பேசுவார்கள் என்று தலைவி சலித்துக்கொள்கிறாள். 'துனி' என்பது ஊடல்; 'துவ்வாய்' என்பது துய்க்கமாட்டாய் என்பதாகும்.

- O heart, you will not first sulk and only then enjoy his company; you simply give in at once. Who would bother to plan such things with you from now on?
