- நெற்றியில் வியர்வை அரும்பும்படி முன்பு நிகழ்ந்த கூடலில் கிடைத்த அந்தச் சுவையை, இன்னொரு முறை ஊடல் கொண்டு மீண்டும் பெறுவோமா என்று தலைவன் ஏங்குகிறான். இங்கே 'உப்பு' என்பது உணவுக்குச் சுவை தரும் உப்பைப் போலக் காதலுக்குச் சுவை தரும் இன்பத்தைக் குறிக்கிறது.
