- விளக்கம்
- "நாமநீர் வைப்பு" என்றால் அச்சம் தரும் கடலால் சூழப்பட்ட இவ்வுலகம். இவ்வுலகில் எல்லா நன்மைகளையும் பெறத் தகுதியுடையவர் யார் என்று கேட்டால், இன்னொருவனுக்கு உரிய பெண்ணின் தோளைத் தழுவாதவர்களே என்கிறார் வள்ளுவர். ஒழுக்கத்தைக் காப்பவருக்கே உலகின் நலன்கள் உரியவை என்பது இதன் கருத்து.
