- நெறி தவறி நடப்பவர்களின் வாயிலிருந்து வரும் கடுஞ்சொற்களைப் பொறுத்துக்கொள்பவர்கள், உலகப் பற்றை விட்ட துறவிகளைப் போன்ற தூய்மை உடையவர்கள். "இறந்தார்" என்றால் இங்கே வரம்பு கடந்து நடப்பவர்; "நோற்றல்" என்றால் தாங்குதல். இழிசொல் கேட்டும் மனம் கலங்காமல் இருப்பது, துறவுக்கு இணையான மனத்தூய்மை ஆகும்.
