- பிறருக்கு உதவி செய்வதால் ஒருவனுக்கு இழப்போ கேடோ வரும் என்றால், அந்தக் கேடு தன்னையே விற்றாவது வாங்கிக்கொள்ளத் தக்க பெருமை உடையது. அதாவது, உதவியால் வரும் இழப்பு உண்மையில் இழப்பல்ல; அது மதிப்புமிக்க பேறு. உதவி செய்வதால் ஏற்படும் சிறு நட்டங்களுக்கு அஞ்சி உதவாமல் இருக்கக் கூடாது என்பதே இதன் கருத்து.
