- பொருள் இல்லாதவர்களுக்கு இந்த உலக வாழ்க்கை இன்பம் தருவதில்லை. அதுபோலவே, அருள் இல்லாதவர்களுக்கு மறுஉலக நன்மை கிடைப்பதில்லை. இவ்வுலக வாழ்வுக்குப் பொருள் எவ்வளவு தேவையோ, அவ்வுலக வாழ்வுக்கு அருள் அவ்வளவு தேவை என்பது இதன் கருத்து.
