- விளக்கம்
- அருள் எது என்று கேட்டால், அது எந்த உயிரையும் கொல்லாமல் இருப்பது; அருள் அல்லாதது எது என்று கேட்டால், அது உயிரைக் கொல்வது. ஆகவே, கொலையால் கிடைக்கும் அந்த இறைச்சியைத் தின்பது அறம் ஆகாது என்று வள்ளுவர் முடிக்கிறார். "கோறல்" என்றால் கொல்லுதல். கொல்லுதல் அருளுக்கு எதிரானது என்றால், அதன் பயனை உண்பதும் அருளுக்கு மாறானதே என்பது கருத்து.
