- சுவை, ஒளி, ஊறு எனப்படும் தொடுதல் உணர்வு, ஓசை, நாற்றம் எனப்படும் மணம் ஆகிய ஐந்து புலன் உணர்வுகளின் இயல்பையும் தன்மையையும் தெளிவாக அறிந்து அவற்றை ஆள்பவனின் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உலகமே இருக்கும். இங்கு 'கட்டு' என்பது ஆட்சி அல்லது கட்டுப்பாடு. புலன்களை அறிந்து அடக்கியவனை உலகம் மதித்துப் பின்பற்றும்.
