- விளக்கம்
- 'கறுத்து' என்றால் சினம் கொண்டு என்று பொருள். ஒருவர் நம்மீது பகை கொண்டு கேடு செய்த போதும், பதிலுக்கு அவருக்குத் தீங்கு செய்யாமல் இருப்பதே மாசற்ற மனம் உடையவர்களின் கொள்கை. பழிக்குப் பழி வாங்கும் எண்ணத்தை விட்டுவிடுவதே மனத்தூய்மையின் உண்மையான சான்று. யாராவது நம்மைக் காயப்படுத்தினாலும், திருப்பித் தாக்காமல் பொறுத்துக்கொள்வது பெருந்தன்மை.
