- விளக்கம்
- அறத்தைக் கடைப்பிடிப்பதை விட ஒருவரை உயர்த்தும் நன்மை வேறு எதுவும் இல்லை. அதே போல அறத்தை மறந்து வாழ்வதை விடப் பெரிய அழிவும் வேறு இல்லை. அறம் செய்வது உயர்வுக்கு வழி; அதைப் புறக்கணிப்பது வீழ்ச்சிக்கு வழி. நல்லது செய்ய மறப்பதே வாழ்க்கையில் மிகப் பெரிய இழப்பு என்பதை நாம் நினைவில் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
