- பற்றுகள் அற்றவர் என்று உண்மையில் சொல்லத் தகுந்தவர் அவாவை அறுத்தவர்களே. மற்றவர்கள் வீடு, பொருள், உறவு போன்றவற்றை விட்டுவிட்டாலும், அவா உள்ளத்தில் இருக்கும் வரை அவர்கள் அந்த அளவுக்கு முழுமையாக விடுபட்டவர் ஆக மாட்டார்கள். வெளியே துறப்பதை விட உள்ளே விருப்பத்தைத் துறப்பதே உண்மையான துறவு.
