- எல்லா வழிகளையும் முழுமையாக ஆராயாமல் பகைவர் மேல் படையெடுத்துச் செல்வது, அந்தப் பகைவரைப் பாத்தி அமைத்து நட்டு வளர்ப்பது போன்ற ஒரு வழியாகும். "பாத்தி" என்பது செடி செழித்து வளர நீர் தேங்கும்படி அமைக்கும் சிறு நிலப்பகுதி. திட்டமில்லாத தாக்குதல் தோல்வியில் முடிந்து, எதிரியை மேலும் வலிமைப்படுத்திவிடும் என்பது கருத்து.
