- பிறர் இகழ்ந்து பேசாத செயல்களையே ஆராய்ந்து செய்ய வேண்டும். தம் நிலைக்கும் பெருமைக்கும் பொருந்தாத செயல்களை உலகம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாது. "எள்ளாத" என்பது இகழப்படாத; "தம்மோடு கொள்ளாத" என்பது தம் தகுதியோடு ஒத்துப் போகாத என்பதாகும். நம் இடத்துக்கு ஏற்ற முறையில் நடந்துகொண்டால்தான் மக்களின் மதிப்பைப் பெற முடியும்.
