- அறம் என்று சிறப்பாகச் சொல்லப்படுவது இல்வாழ்க்கையே. 'அஃதும்' என்பதைப் பழைய உரை துறவறத்தைக் குறிப்பதாகக் கொண்டு, அதுவும் பிறர் பழிக்கும்படி இல்லாவிட்டால் நல்லதே என்று விளக்கும்; இல்லறமே பிறர் பழிக்காதபடி அமைந்தால் சிறந்தது என்று வேறு சிலர் பொருள் கொள்வர். எவ்வழியானாலும், மற்றவர் குறை சொல்ல இடம் தராமல் வாழ்வதே நன்மை.
