- சிறிய படையை உடையவன் எளிதாக இயங்கக்கூடிய இடத்திற்குள், பெரிய படையை உடையவன் சென்று சேர்ந்தால், அவனுடைய ஊக்கமும் வலிமையும் அழிந்துவிடும். குறுகிய, பழக்கமில்லாத இடத்தில் பெரிய படை தன் எண்ணிக்கையால் வரும் பயனை இழந்துவிடும். படையின் அளவைவிட இடமே வெற்றியை முடிவு செய்யும் என்பது கருத்து.
