- ஒருவரின் நல்லியல்புகளை ஆராய வேண்டும்; அவரது குறைகளையும் ஆராய வேண்டும்; இவ்விரண்டில் எது மிகுதியாக உள்ளது என்று பார்த்து, மிகுந்திருப்பதைக் கொண்டே அவரை மதிப்பிட வேண்டும். குறையே இல்லாத மனிதர் இல்லை என்பதால், ஒரு குறையைக் கண்டவுடன் ஒதுக்கவும் கூடாது; ஒரு நலத்தைக் கண்டவுடன் முழுதும் நம்பவும் கூடாது. நண்பர்களையும் உடன் பணியாளர்களையும் மதிப்பிடும்போதும் இந்த முறை பயன் தரும்.
