- அறிஞர்கள் போற்றிச் சொன்ன நல்ல செயல்களை மறவாமல், கருத்தோடு செய்ய வேண்டும். அவற்றை அலட்சியம் செய்து செய்யாமல் விட்டவர்களுக்கு ஏழு பிறவிகளிலும் நன்மை இல்லை என்கிறார் வள்ளுவர். செய்ய வேண்டியதைப் புறக்கணிப்பதன் விளைவு நீண்ட காலம் தொடரும் என்பதை இது வலியுறுத்துகிறது.

- You must carefully do the things that the wise have praised; those who scorn them and leave them undone will find no good in any of their seven births.
