- மழைத்துளி இல்லாவிட்டால் உலகம் எப்படி வாடித் துன்புறுமோ, அப்படியே அரசனிடம் அன்பும் இரக்கமும் இல்லாவிட்டால் அவன் ஆட்சியில் வாழும் உயிர்கள் துன்புறும். 'அளி' என்பது அருள், இரக்கம். மழை எல்லா உயிர்க்கும் வாழ்வு தருவது போல, ஆள்பவரின் இரக்கமும் மக்களுக்கு உயிர்நீர் போன்றது. பொறுப்பில் உள்ளவர் இரக்கம் காட்டாவிட்டால் அவரைச் சார்ந்திருக்கும் அனைவரும் வறண்டுபோவர்.
