- தன் ஒழுக்கத்தைக் காத்துக்கொண்டு, தன்னை மணந்த கணவனை அன்போடு பேணி, இருவருக்கும் பெருமை தரும் நல்ல பெயரைக் காத்து, இவற்றில் எப்போதும் சோர்வு இல்லாமல் விழிப்போடு இருப்பவளே பெண் எனத் தகுந்தவள். இங்குச் "சொல்" என்பது புகழையும் நற்பெயரையும் குறிக்கும்.
