- தன் அமைச்சர்களுடன் கலந்து ஆராயாமல் செயல்பட்டு, பின்னர் காரியம் தவறியபோது சினத்திற்கு இடம் கொடுத்து அவர்களைச் சீறும் அரசனின் செல்வமும் சிறப்பும் குறைந்துகொண்டே போகும். முன்பே சிந்திக்காமல், பின்னர் கோபத்தில் மற்றவர் மீது பாய்வது நன்மை தராது. எந்தக் குழுவிலும் முதலில் கலந்து பேசி முடிவெடுப்பதே சரியானது.

- A king who does not think matters through with his counsellors, and then flies into a rage at them, will see his fortune steadily shrink.
