- அறிவுரை கூறுபவர்களை அரசன் புறக்கணித்து, தானும் எதையும் அறியாதவனாக இருந்தாலும், அவன் அருகில் இருக்கும் அமைச்சன் அவனுக்கு நன்மை தருவதைச் சொல்வது கடமையாகும். கேட்பார் இல்லை என்பதற்காக உண்மையைச் சொல்லாமல் விடக்கூடாது. தலைவர் விரும்பாவிட்டாலும் சரியானதைச் சுட்டிக்காட்டுவதே உண்மையான துணைவரின் பண்பு.
