- உலகம் ஒரு பொருட்டாக மதிக்காத எளிய மனிதர்களையும் மதிப்புள்ளவர்களாக மாற்றும் ஆற்றல் செல்வத்தைத் தவிர வேறு எதற்கும் இல்லை. 'பொருளல்லவர்' என்பது எதற்கும் கணக்கில் கொள்ளப்படாதவர்களைக் குறிக்கிறது. அவர்களைக் கணக்கில் கொள்ளத் தக்கவர்களாக்குவது செல்வமே. அதனால் செல்வம் தேடுவது வாழ்க்கையில் புறக்கணிக்கக் கூடாத ஒன்று.
