- உலகத்தில் அறிவுடையோர் பலரும் உண்டு என்று ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும் ஒன்றை, இல்லை என்று பிடிவாதமாக மறுப்பவன் அறிவிலி. அவனை மக்கள் மனிதனாக மதிக்காமல் இந்த மண்ணில் திரியும் பேயாகவே கருதுவார்கள். அலகை என்றால் பேய். பொதுவான உண்மைகளை ஆராயாமல் மறுப்பது மதிப்பைக் குறைக்கும்.
