- பிறர் நம்மைப் பிரிக்க வேண்டும் என்று எண்ணி நமக்குப் பிடிக்காத செயல்களைச் செய்தாலும், நாமும் பகை உணர்வோடு அவர்களுக்குத் துன்பம் தரும் செயல்களைச் செய்யாமல் இருப்பதே சிறந்தது. தீமைக்குத் தீமையால் பதில் தருவது பகையை மேலும் வளர்க்கும். யாராவது நம்மைப் புண்படுத்தினாலும் பழிவாங்க முயலாமல் அமைதி காப்பதே உயர்ந்த வழி.
