- மன்ற என்பது உறுதியாக என்றும், செம்மல் என்பது செருக்கு என்றும் பொருள்படும். தம்மைப் பகைப்பவர்களின் இறுமாப்பை அடக்கி ஒடுக்காதவர்கள், உறுதியாக மூச்சுவிட்டு உயிரோடு இருப்பவர்களாகக்கூடக் கருதப்பட மாட்டார்கள். பகைவரின் வலிமையை உரிய காலத்தில் தணிக்காவிட்டால் அதுவே அழிவைக் கொண்டுவரும்.
