- தான் தேடிய பணத்தைக் கொடுத்து, தன்னையே மறக்கச் செய்யும் மயக்கத்தை விலைக்கு வாங்குவது முழுமையான அறியாமையாகும். 'மெய்யறியாமை' என்பது தன்னைத் தானே உணராத நிலை; 'கையறியாமை' என்பது செய்ய வேண்டியது எது என்றே தெரியாத நிலை. பணம் கொடுத்துக் கேட்டை வாங்கும் இச்செயல், தான் செய்வது என்ன என்று அறியாதவரின் செயல் என்கிறார் வள்ளுவர்.
