- கள்ளை மறைவாகக் குடித்து, கண்கள் சொருகித் தள்ளாடுபவர்களின் மறைவான செயலை ஊரார் எளிதில் கண்டுபிடித்து விடுவர்; அதனால் அவர்கள் எப்போதும் ஊராரின் ஏளனத்துக்கு ஆளாவர். 'கண்சாய்தல்' என்பது போதையால் கண் மயங்கிச் சாய்வது. எவ்வளவு மறைத்தாலும் குடிப்பழக்கம் வெளிப்பட்டே தீரும் என்பது கருத்து.
