- ஒருவர் தமக்கு நன்மையும் நற்பெயரும் வேண்டுமென்றால், தவறு செய்ய நாணும் பண்பைப் பெற வேண்டும். தம் குடியின் பெருமை நிலைக்க வேண்டுமென்றால், யாரிடமும் செருக்கின்றிப் பணிவுடன் நடக்க வேண்டும். பணிவு தாழ்வல்ல; அதுவே உயர்வின் அடையாளம்.
